I bought it so that I can use my Ipod Touch FMII transmitter and my GPS at the same time, but I was disappointed that it does not fit securely in the cigarette socket which keeps falling. I gave it 2 stars because it works but it does not fit securely.

I brought this product in July 2009. I was going on holiday and needed to plug in a satnav and ipod at the same time. I was ready to go, 2 children in the car, just one last look around the house. I was only gone for about a minute, but came back to a car full of smoke and a melting adapter. If I had been another couple of minutes a dread to think what would have happened.

Bought multiple car cigarette lighter socket. Got it on time, not the one that was on a picture, it won’t sit properly in the socket, keeps moving, is too long- FAR LOO LONG!!! , so all in all won’t charge my devices. There was no control lamp as it was on the picture and it’s made from a really cheap plastic. DON’T BUY IT! waste of money!!! spend a few quid more and get a proper one! It wasn’t even in original packaging just put inside an envelope. All in all it does work, if you would hold it or tape it too your dashboard. But that is not the point isn’t it?

Good fit and provides the ability to run dual sat nav / digital radio / mp3 player / phone charger. Now all I need is something to tidy up all those loose wires.
