The bag is generally very well-made and versatile, with a sturdy construction and a fair share of practical solutions. I use one third of the main compartment space for a Canon EOS 500D with the 18-55mm kit lens. Another third is dedicated to small accessories like the charger, a cleaning kit, etc. The remaining space could fit another 1-2 lenses depending on size, or perhaps an external flash. A wallet for up to twelve memory cards is included in a dedicated space and the outer pockets can hold notebooks and similar-sized items protected from rain or snow.

I have used the bag for hiking and mountaineering with complete confidence that my camera is safe. The only downside is that the bag is, despite the name, not very stealthy. The size, quality and make signals that the bag contains somewhat expensive equipment, potentially making it a target for criminals.

Lowepro Stealth D100AW

Just received the bag from Amazon, the quality of the bag is excellent, the size of the bag is deceiving you can get a lot more kit in it then you think, I have a Canon 450D with a 15-55mm lens attached and a 55-250mm lens as well as all the normal other gear. there are a number of pockets as well as the removable pouch and memory card wallet, the handy zip on top of the bag which allows you to take the camera out, with out oppening the front, The all weather cover that is stored under the outside of the bag will prorect my gear, all excellent ideas Lowepro.

The all weather cover can be found, in a compartment at the base of the bag. To find this it is necessary to rip open the Velcro fastening.

It’s smaller than I thought – 1-2 lenses, not 2-3. My Canon 40D + 17-55mm lens won’t fit in properly and you can’t get the camera out from the top zip pocket.

The good points:

well built

nice looking bag

Great price and service from Amazon

The bad points:

You can only fit one slr with small zoom, and two more lenses or one flash unit. I had to remove the bottom padding to make more room, otherwise I couldn’t close the bag properly

The front pockets are totally useless, you can’t fit anything in them and they are not secure, only one pocket has some velcro, the others nothing so I wouldn’t keep anything there. The bag comes with a memory card wallet but I’d much rather have pockets

Overall: I would only recommend this bag to someone with one camera and up two lenses and no accessories
