It had to be red! My daughter-in-law has all red accessories in her kitchen. When the old kettle made its last cuppa a replacement was purchased – but it was not red! That was my idea for a gift for her at Christmas – not sexy or personal as in underwear or jewellery, but functional and what she wanted – so we all enjoyed a much needed cup of tea made by her wonderful new Prestige Dakota Cordless.

If anyone is buying red kitchen cannisters that are a “pillar box red” this jug is darker – looks as if its part burgandy. It works well and pours without any drips.

We bought it because my wife like the colour. it is a good kettle. It sims that it take a little bit more time to boil the water. Easy to clean.

When my old kettle started switching itself off and on,I decided it was time for a new one. I have a nice red Ikea kitchen,and decided to look for something different and get a red one. I looked at several different makes,and read the reviews,and decided on this one,and I am glad I did. It is easy to fill, either through the spout,or by the smooth mechanism that lifts the lid.I have only had it for 2 weeks,but I love it. I also bought the red Prestige toaster that Amazon were selling at a bargain price,and am delighted with that as well. May I again say how pleased I am with the service from Amazon. Both these items were despatched very quickly,even though the kettle was from an Amazon seller,so well done. If you want a classy looking matching set of red toaster and kettle,these are the ones for you.

easy to use -all plastic with no metal bits to rot and rust.have seen nicer kettles but for the price you cant go wrong!!you have the track record of a time served reliable manufacturer.
