Bought this nappy bin for our newborn baby, since the Starter Pack is great value.
Positives:
It works like a dream – the instructions are easy to follow, it is very easy to use the bin and there is absolutely no nappy smell in the nursery (even after the most stinky dirty nappy).
Negatives:
The bin could be bigger. I have to empty it every 2 to 3 days.
The Refill Cassettes do not even last close to month like advertised. My baby boy is only 5 weeks old and I’ve already gone through 3 Refill Cassettes.
I would still recommend the product though – it is just so effective that I don’t mind emptying it often and purchasing lots of refills.

Bought this as we had an older bin design (bought a year ago) but couldn’t get the same refill cassettes. Though we could get 6 cassettes and a better designed bin for a great price. Well it was a great price (£22 at the time) but the design of the new bin is awful. The problems are:
Thinner plastic which makes the lid a lot more flimsy and won’t quite sit closed properly.
The new protruding piece under the lid to push down the wrapper after use is too big and gets in the way when trying to load in the nappy.
Twisting handle to ‘wrap’ the nappy is much smaller than before and harder to hold as you turn it.
Shame really, as we’ve gone back to using the old bin with the new wrapper cassettes. Given 2 stars as was good price for 6 cassettes but bin design is worth avoiding.

If your objective is to dispose of used nappies quickly, hygienically, and cleanly, look no further: this is what you are looking for. Your bin will never smell like a toilet and it is very easy to use and maintain (replacing cassettes and so forth).

I like this product because it does what it says — makes nappies go away. There are a few of these on the market, it was tough choosing among them. But the Tippee sangenic one is great.
a) easy to open with one hand
b) easy to put the nappy into (although you do have to push it in ALL the way)
c) our baby is almost 6 weeks old and we’ve gone through three of the bag cassettes, so you don’t have to refill that often.
d) no smell
e) emptying easy, just pop the top off, unhook the bag, and dump it
f) easy to reset it once you’ve followed the instructions (even my wife can do it)
g) easy to clean, we just have some antibacterial wipes, the whole thing is smooth plastic so you can just wipe it and go.
Only thing I wish is that the bin attached was 50% bigger; you do end up emptying the attached bin just about every 3 days or so. But I guess there’s a tradeoff between size (you can sneak this pretty much anywhere in the nursery) and my laziness.
Good product.
