Hello. I have a Toshiba laptop, running windows VISTA (aka...Satan's OS). I currently only have 1GB of RAM for running Vista, which is what's causing my slowness, so I'm told. ******* Here's my laptop: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/toshiba-satellite-a215-s4747/4505-3118_7-32517988.html?tag=sub (click "specifications" for exact specs) I went to www.4allmemory.com , which guarantees that this RAM is compatible... http://www.4allmemory.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=search.memorySearch&model_id=-7499&memory_id=-101071 Then I saw a much cheaper RAM that APPEARS to be the same, but has a different beginning of the name to it, at newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178147&ATT=20-178-147&CMP=OTC-Froogle&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Memory+(Notebook+Memory)-_-PNY+Technologies++Inc.-_-20178147 Are these the same? Exact same specs? Both exactly compatible with my laptop? No differences at all (other than brand name, maybe?) Thanks!
I found some reviews, which one should I join? http://www.bestipodownloads.com
Hi! I'm thinking about buying a dSLR camera. From the reviews I've read -- Olympus E-510 looks like the best bet, with its in-body image stabilization and dust reduction system. But, compared to Nikon or Canon, there are very few Olympus lenses available. So -- what cameras have similar characteristics and are in the same price range as E-510? What would you recommend? And, for an amateur photographer, how important is the number of available lenses?
I know this may sounds horribly stupid I don't know if it's supposed to be like this of if it's right in front of me and I can't figure it out.. I have a Nikon D60 and you know regularly... when looking taking a picture you can look through the eyepiece or through the screen, there is even a sensor so it can tell when you are looking through the eyepiece and the screen is supposed to display what is being seen by the camera but it's always black I can only ever use the eyepiece because when taking pictures the screen displays black, it only shows anything when i am reviewing pictures or on the menu etc... is there something I'm missing? a way to turn it on? yeah I understand the theory of it all, but the thing is there is the sensor there to turn it on and off, and in the manual there is something about either looking through the eyepiece or at the screen. I don't mind ...

I have this laptop http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/dell-inspiron-1721/4505-3121_7-32471369.html and i want to download the Sims2 on to it but I am scared of the space it will take up. I am not too big on computers so I do not know if the 2700MB is a lot of space for this laptop. I also have Vista but have read of others playing it there. I have the expansion packs but I think I will just stick with my Sims2. What should I do?

Hey all, I'm looking to buy my first dSLR and have done tons of reaserch and read tons of reviews about the Nikon D40 and the Canon Rebel XSi. I know that if I get the D40 I'll be saving alot and could buy some lenses with that money but I'm stuck between this and the XSi. 3 of my friends own the XSi and I did try it out, took some pics and messed around with it. So I have little experience with that camera but it's more expensive than the D40 and I want to know if it's worth it. I also have two old Canon lenses that my dad used when he had his film SLR (which is unfortunately lost) . One is an EF 50mm 1.8 lens. And the other is an EF 35-105mm 35-4.5 lens. So should I get the Canon and use these two lenses (that's if I could use them), or get the cheap D40 and buy some extras to go with it. P.S: I know that ...
